Below are some pics of 2 remodels I bought.  The house with the wood floors and travertine tile was completed in 2 months from start to finish.  All the popcorn was removed, new interior paint, complete gut of the master bath, all new wood floors, new countertops, removed cabinets, kitchen cabinets painted, new windows, new roof, all carpet removed, all new lighting and fans, installed new vents in bathroom, mosaic glass tile backsplash.....and the list goes on and on.  Enjoy the pics.

  •

Before pic of ceramic tile kitchen.

  • After pic, Can you see the 1/16" grout lines?

  • That's my trusty inspector. Notice the carpet in the dining area?

  • Painted cabinets, new quartz countertops, appliances, hardware, glass mosaic tile backsplash.

  • Say goodbye to the carpet in the dining!

  • Got rid of all the carpet. Wood glue is expensive!

  • Before pics of bathroom. You never know what you'll find behind the wall of a shower.

  • Not what you want to find when you tear walls down in a shower: water and termite damage!!

  •

Cut a hole in the slab to move the drain 2 feet. Also removed all the rotted and termite infested framework.

  • Very common vanity. Tip on getting these things removed: Post them for free on Craigslist. They'll go quick!

  •

First row of tiles is up. What's the orange stuff? It's an awsome waterproofing membrane called Schluter Kerdi.

  •

Got the drain and sloping deck mud bed installed.

  • Granite shelves for $10 made from scrap granite. Like the rock accent?

  •

Grohe rough-ins and plumbing fixtures installed.

  • Rock floors and glass blocks are cool.

  • Almost done. Just need to paint the walls.

  • Pics from another shower remodel. Tip: Don't let the grout sit too long! Work in small sections.

  •

That's not marble tile. It's porcelain. I love this tile.

  •

Tip: Instead of buying expensive bullnose tiles, try using edge trimming like you see here.

  •

Yes, the vent opens and closes.

  • Take extra care when laying out shower floor tile. This one required no cuts.
